Beijer, Thomas

Thomas is a partner in H&P. He contributed to projects with IPR implications as well as matters related to standardization.

His core competences are standardization strategies in telecommunications, international co-operation between operators and manufacturers as well as between standards developing organizations.

Prior to joining H&P, Thomas was employed by a major manufacturer in mobile telecommunications and before that he worked for a mobile operator where he was responsible for standardization and strategic issues in mobile communications. He was for a long time deeply involved in standardization in CEPT, ETSI, ITU and other cooperative constellations such as the GSM Association and the UMTS Forum where he was also the chairman. He also contributed to the formation of 3GPP.
